Give A PC is a non-profit organization founded to help marginalized and underprivileged children who don’t have access to the internet and computers, get connected.

Technological accessibility is vital to the success of most students! We recognize that technology is the NOW and the future, and anyone who doesn’t have access to digital tools and the internet, is missing out on opportunities and skill learning.

Many South Carolina learners face challenges and educational gaps, especially those in more rural parts of the state, due to a lack of resources and accessibility. Many of the resources they lack are related to technology and digital equipment. We want to help ensure South Carolina youth learn new skills and get learning opportunities, in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. We will help unlock access to vital resources for these children and help them continue learning at the same rates as their peers through equal access to technology.

To help empower our youth to a brighter future, Give A PC obtains computers (broken and unused) from companies, refurbishes them, and gives them to students in need. In doing this, children are introduced to the world of information technology and ultimately develop greater computer skills, while also gaining access to helpful materials on the internet. Through this experience, we hope children develop a capacity for self-sufficiency and improve their educational and employment prospects.

With your donations and our team’s hard work, we can provide refurbished computers to underprivileged youth in our community and give them hope for a better tomorrow. Any one of these children has the potential to become the next developer or leader in technology, and we don’t want to miss out on that due to the lack of internet and computer access. So, help us deliver opportunities for learning to these children and bridge the digital divide that exists between our youth and technological advancement.
